This article shows how to install the free plugin and confirm it works. It takes about two minutes.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.2 or newer
• WooCommerce installed and active (required)
• PHP 7.0 or newer
• PNG images for canvases and clipart (transparent PNG for clipart)

Method 1: Install from the WordPress plugin directory

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
2. Search for custom product builder for woocommerce.
3. Find Custom Product Builder for WooCommerce – Product Designer & Personalizer by CoderPress and click Install Now.
4. When the installation finishes, click Activate.

Tip: If the plugin card says “Additional plugins are required: WooCommerce”, install and activate WooCommerce first.

Method 2: Upload the plugin ZIP file

1. Download the ZIP from the WordPress.org plugin page.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.

Verify the installation

After activation, WordPress opens Product Builder → Dashboard. The free plugin has no setup wizard and needs no license key.

1. Check that a top-level Product Builder menu appears below Products.
2. Check that it contains Dashboard, Custom Orders, Toolkit and Help & Docs.

Tip: On slow hosts the install screen can stall. Reload Plugins → Installed Plugins to check whether the plugin installed, then click Activate.
